Kelly And April Alexander Legacy Fund!
The (512) Day Festival 501 c3 is the nonprofit that was created to pour into the Alexander Legacy Fund. Our fund is very simple, we want to give back to the places and people that helped make us who we are. Kelly and April Alexander are both from historic East Austin. They met at Huston-Tillotson Univerisity in 2001. They eventually fell in love and married leading to the beginning of their legacy. The first purpose of this fund is to help those students who could not afford going to school because of finances. Next, we want to assist those that may be struggling with the possibility of leaving school due to money problems. Lastly we want to make sure that those students at the end of their programs can complete the last term without financial burden or strain. We will be adding more information about the requirements for the scholarships and available award amounts after this year's festival.
